D M McCorrie are fully versed in
all aspects of the Plasterers craft, and have been involved in the
restoration of many historic buildings throughout England. Some of
the contracts include Allerton Castle, North Yorkshire, Castle Howard, North Yorkshire, the National Trust,
including Nostell Priory and other Yorkshire National trust properties, The House of Lords, London, Charles Darwin
Museum, Kent.
D M McCorrie are skilled in reproducing or
matching to existing ornamental plasterwork, with emphasis on in-situ
cornice work, and three coat plasterwork, incorporating animal hair and
other traditional materials.
D M McCorrie specialise in the removal of
existing paint work from ornamental plasterwork, restoring the plasterwork
back to it's former glory
